サウンドインスタレーション

本作は、「今」展2020に向けて新たに作られたもので、作曲家ジョン・ケージによる「Organ²/ASLSP」（“可能な限りゆっくりと”という演奏指示で、事実上無限の時間を必要とする）を題材とすることで、今という時をみつめる作品たちとの共鳴を生み出していました。オルガン版とピアノ版、それぞれの楽曲を解体し、マイクで集められた室内の音にリアルタイムに感応してスピーカーから響かせます。また、同時にこの音はネット上にも放送され、QRコードから各自の携帯端末でも聴くことが出来ました。音楽の持つ時間と空間の芸術性を追求したケージの跳躍的発想による「Organ²/ASLSP」の音色が、会場内の人々が出す音たちによって室内とネット上という空間をまたぎながら駆け抜けることで、この今という瞬間、この場所から現れる命の存在、そして躍動感を自らの内側に感じさせてくれます。
この音源には6月28日の会場で生成された音が収録されており、そこから「もう一つの体験」として授かることができるのかもしれません。

Sound Installation

This work is a new creation for the “Now” exhibition 2020. By taking as a subject the song “Organ²/ASLSP” (instructed to play “as slow as possible” and virtually require the infinite time for play) by Composer John Cage created a resonance with another works that look at the present moment. The organ and piano versions of each piece are deconstructed and reverberated through the speakers in real time in response to room sounds collected by a microphone. At the same time, the sound was also broadcast online and could be heard on each person's mobile device via QR code. The sound of "Organ²/ASLSP" with Cage's leaping idea of pursuing the artistry of time and space of music makes us feel the presence and vitality of life in this moment to inside ourselves by running through the space of the room and the net, by the sounds made by the people in the venue.
This recording contains the sounds generated at the June 28 venue and you might be given as "another experience".
